What will be of the "Less" classes?

Only Warriors and Archers will be able to go statless and still use high level armors without trying.

The thieves and pirates will still be able to go stat-less and exceed their normal stat counter parts.

The key to maximum damage for every class is wearing as many Weapon Attack pieces of gear as possible, while getting all the sub-stat you require to wear your end-game weapon from your armor. The reason you want your sub-stat from your armor is to pump all your points into your main stat. Percentage increasing of stats is the main reason for this mantra I'm chanting.

Maple warrior made stat-less classes much stronger, and this new potential system only drives them further along. The only way a normal-stat class is going to surpass a stat-less equivalent is more funding. Although any character using any type of stat style can come out on top given the right amount of funding, I'll give you that.

But going full out with as much funding as possible, there is no way a normal class can be on par, let alone exceed a stat-less class.

I'll do a very small sample scenario. A Bucc needs 120 dex for his equinox. Now, lets look at this in two different ways;

Both bucs are at the same level, 120.

Bucc A has 120 base dex to wear his equinox, so now he has 200 points for his base str. He is also wearing 2 pieces of gear with strength on them. So he has 300 str, 200 from AP and 100 from gear. (I know the real numbers would be bigger, but I'am making them smaller to make the math easier to follow)
Bucc B has 20 base dex, but he has 300 points in base str. This bucc however has to wear dex gear to wear his equinox, so his 2 pieces of gear have 50 dex each on them. So now, Bucc B has 300 str from AP and none from gear.

Both buccs in that secnario end with equal main stat. Only Bucc A has less base str. Going by this very very simple model, Bucc B wins out simple because of Maple Warrior. And he'll only get stronger with the percentage scrolling system.

Any Dex sub-stat reliant class will get the most out of being stat-less. There are alot of gear pieces that can be scrolled for DEX, but not for STR. So you get your DEX from pieces that cant be scrolled for ATK or STR.

There is no gear model or gearing method that can be used by normal stat classes to out-do their stat-less counter parts. There just isnt. If done correctly and intelligently a stat-less class can support their gear or accuracy requirement and still get all the delicious ATK gear and main-stat gear the normal classes use.

Thieves and bowman can use this system to great success as well, but buccs and warriors have it the easiest.

Edit; @ Hazzy.

Percent bonuses don't apply to gear stats. This is true with Maple Warrior, and is true with the percent bonuses from the new scrolling system.
