As for people asking why religion is "insultable" sometimes, is when you go all defensive on a silly joke. God forgives all our sins, right? I'm quite sure that if he's up there, and we make fun of him, he'll understand. After all, it's what he gets for not showing up. And giving a glimpse two thousand years ago doesn't really count, considering everyone can write a book.
If you get annoyed by this, it only shows how blindly you follow orders, just like a lot of people joining christian "sects". And I've known cases where friendships break due to that, I've seen families loosing contact with people, and I've seen some of the worst people I can ever imagine coming out of them, and I'm talking about serious stuff.
Religion is OK. You are free to think whatever you want. Just don't impose it blindly... Most people don't even know what half of it means.
