I think it basically means that if you're having problems in a marriage, a relationship, or anything really, that you're supposed to let them go instead of trying to hold onto nothing. If things work out and they come back, it's meant to be. If they don't come back, it wasn't.

I agree fully with this statement. I had to let someone go b/c well frankly they weren't worth my time of day & they weren't right for me lol. But I was still vying for their affection, so wouldn't u know they got married later on in their life to someone else was pretty funny..
