E3 2010 discussion

...Haven't payed much attention, but, Nintendo seems to have done the best job.

Now, this KINECT crap.
"Thought swinging that Wiimote around made you look retarded?! Introducing KINECT, bringing all new levels of retarded to the WORLD!!! Instead of holding that IMPRACTICAL remote around, YOU are the controller!!!!! Now anybody can look like they're high on crack!"

While I'm not a big fan of most motion games, you have to realize how hard it is to make something like Kinect, Wii Remote, or "Magic Wand"(?) work with few bugs. We're getting closer and closer to virtual reality. :|
I'm not a fan of these things in video games, but being able to pause my movie with my hand, instead of a remote with batteries, appeals to me. A lot. There's a lot of potential for this technology.... We'll see how well it works in video games. I have to say, I like the new Zelda Game's method. Being able to hold your 'shield' anywhere....

Again, we'll see how well this stuff works. Sounds nice on paper. In practice is just sooooo different.
