This is a grinding game. That's all there is to it.
There is nothing else.
I got my last HS mule to ~90 in a couple of weeks soloing it in my spare time, and that was without any family 2x, any NX, no pets and nothing.
The game is damn simple. You just have to suck it up and accept it for what it is, and if that's the aspect of the game you don't like, newsflash, it's the only aspect of the game that exists, so you don't like the game and should find one you'll enjoy.
