OT: I agree with everyone in that it's not tough math when you really get down to it, but consider two important aspects of this website:

(1): We're all ridiculously smart compared to the "average" human out there. Don't think so? Look at yourself. You're reading and posting in thought-provoking threads instead of playing Farmville, developing yourself physically (lol; sounds bad, but you know what I mean), or fucking other kids your age. Or whatever else it is the "average" person your age does with their life. Of course we're going to look at this math differently, because by the time most people on this forum got to college/will get to college, they had/will have already taken 1-2 semesters of calculus, a subject that is traditionally learned in higher education by the vast majority. There are a plethora of other examples, such as the fact that we debate music theory and almost everything else under the sun in our own Rubik's Cube subforum, so if you think otherwise just take a look around at how vastly different the social content of this site is from "average" life. Mind you, I'm not saying this to make everyone feel elitist, but so that people don't feel so down all the time! I see so many people here pissed off that they didn't accomplish their pinnacle goals without realizing and acknowledging all they've accomplished so far. You're all great! /cheesy

(2) Everyone needs to remember, though, that while being very intellectual and looking at things with microscopic precision, it's important to take a step back now and then and view what we're dissecting from another point of view. In this case, it's important for everyone to take a step back and look at the big picture of the OP and think as if they were any "average" person who has never played Pokemon in their life (again, support for why we're different than most: most everyone here has played and mastered Pokemon to a degree far beyond the norm), who is gazing at this link on their friend's Facebook for 5 seconds before heading out to play soccer or whatnot. A person in this case would most likely take one glance, see huge equations containing a load of crap underneath radicals instead of x^2 or 16, and smile at realizing that Pokemon is "srs business."

Wall-of-text. Ugh. Needs a tl;dr.

tl;dr: We're all much smarter than the average norm, considering we spend our time (if you really look at it) on a seriously intellectual forum discussing ideas and concepts most people would rather ignore to be on Facebook, down at the mall, or in their significant others' pants. So don't sell yourself short! But that said, make sure you don't microscopically dissect everything that comes before you and potentially miss how the material was intended to be received. In this case, we all think this is ez, but to most people glancing at the picture for a couple seconds, it looks like tough shit.
