Just wanted to point out I agree with Rick. I don't see how the damages amount to anything requiring monetary compensation. However, I agree with Alloy in disagreeing with Sarah. Of all times to allow dogs in restaurants, the case should be made to allow guide dogs. It's their job, and the analogies used by Alloy to support this stance help make that notion more clear.
That being said, I also wanted to highlight the scientific truth behind Sarah's comment: while homosexuality occurs in many animal species, it never occurs in dogs. In other words, the restaurant was wrong from a black-and-white standpoint before even getting into a moral debate.
