How long have you been a..."Gamer"? (If at all)

I've been playing games for as long as I can remember, but I refuse to call myself a "gamer." Gamers are fat greasy nerds who play competitively and get upset that gamestop won't give them full price for used games. Gamer is a derogatory term.
