You don't say "I. Want. To. Eat. Pizza.", or "I wish I had a pony. a barn. and some hay". You use commas to show they're different but related. 100.100.100.100 = an IP address, not 100,100,100,100. (100 billion, 100 million, 100 thousand, 100.)
