THere was a news report that this generation is slowly letting to of Christianity. If they obey their parents, shouldn't the rate stay the same? They go their for most of their lives and are told its the truth by the people they love and trust the most. Because that's what the parents believe...? No pomegranate they will try to raise them the way they feel best. You may think Christianity is wrong, but that's your own opinion. Others think that it's the way to salvation and by teaching them that, they show that they actually DO CARE.
Most people can't just wake up one day and say "hey this pomegranate is not real". You have to do a lot of soul searching and have some basic education and understanding about how the world really works. ... Again you demonstrate your awesome skills for stating the obvious. And this has nothing to do with the arguement. There are PLENTY of resources that state both sides. You jsut need to know which one you believe in DUH.
"Because they want to, and by doing so they believe they won't go to hell or whatever." What? The only reason why I'm Christian is for eternal life buddy. I think i'd rather be good in this life, and still enjoy life and make it to heaven, than risk not believing God and getting stuck in hell. If you don't believe in heaven/hell, good for you. I
You make it sound as if its fear and ignorance that makes them continue "believing" in the gods. I have nothing to say to this cause i forget the statement your replying to.
Did you know that the most religious states in the United States are also the most violent and the ones with the most death penalty?O...K...? Doesn't mean that the whole population is Christian though. I don't see what you're trying to prove
bolded.
