Damn atheists!

You think people have options with their churches? You do not chsoe your religion, it is chosen for you by birth for most people. They go their for most of their lives and are told its the truth by the people they love and trust the most.
Lol. Let me tell you a little story about myself.

I was born as a Christian. Yup, and I was baptized and stuff.

However, unlike a devout Christian, I began doubting the existence of God. I mean, if God existed there would be no dinosaurs and other stuff (no need to know the full story.)

So, I converted to Atheism. My parents, the people who I love and trust the most, were not cool with it.

But I stayed Atheist.

So yeah, I pretty much chose my own religion. Born into Christianity, converted to Atheism. True, I was born into Christianity, but that does not mean I could change that.


Most people can't just wake up one day and say "hey this pomegranate is not real". Might be in my case, hmm?You have to do a lot of soul searching and have some basic education and understanding about how the world really works.

You make it sound as if its fear and ignorance that makes them continue "believing" in the gods. Yeah, I guess I worded it wrong.

Did you know that the most religious states in the United States are also the most violent and the ones with the most death penalty?Sources? (If you use Wikipedia I'll slap you with a pineapple).

How in the world did this get from a news article about hating Atheists to a flame war, then to a logical arguement (thank god it's a logical arguement now, I don't think it'll be in the future, however).
