Quality telejournalism

There was nothing wrong with the presentation. The news is always dumbed down. Especially when they talk about soil / field conservation, genetics, or bioengineering. If you can admit that Japan will always be Japan then you can easily accept the fact that the news on major channels will always be news. I personally find it annoying when kids try to defend games like the MW2 airport scene by saying that they're used to it. Just because you're accustomed to it doesn't change the fact that it's right or wrong. It's not an issue about whether or not you find something offensive but the implications it can have on younger generations. Most people don't consider how sensitive certain parents are to their child's growth. At a young age every action is over-translated by parents from first steps to first words. The only reason why soccer-moms are scared is because they don't want their new-born on the way possibly having the word "rape" as the first-word their children states when they learn how to talk. It's not like we primarily concern ourselves about how today's youth is emotional adjusted or learn how to distinguish between right or wrong. But the majority of people who do watch those channels are concerned and that's the demographic that the news focuses on.
