Why dont people use Higher equips?

Ill use brawlers as an example ( since i am one) Wont the atk advantage + the stats that reverse knuckle will give you make it worth it?

Depends. If the person can land many 10%s/30%s they may just stick to the non-reverse knuckle because they can't afford more DEX equipment.

Also overall wise. Zhelm would give at least 15 dex, and MoN would give 10 more, thats at lease 45 dex supposing you use no other dex equips. Thats enough to wear a Red barnaby, which gives 10 HP, 4 STR, and 45 weapon def.

That means by using no extra equips for dex specifically, just by upgrading, you get 4 STR for free. Why is this?
This is making the most of 2ndary stat boosts in order to boost your main stat more. Example is exactly this. It's pretty much getting the most out of your stats that you gain from equipment. Also, you forgot the 15 STR from the Zakum Helm, and 5 STR+10 attack from the MoN. Those are damage boosters too.
