This is why you go DFO. The only mandatory thing you're paying for is $1-3 for storage upgrading per character (for convenience sake) and $4.50 a month for a shop permit, and since there are no D/C hacks it's way safer selling stuff. Paying NX for event related avatar sets is optional, same for Life Tokens.
