It should be easier with a cleric though seeing as you only will need hp pots for your magician stage. Also with double exp for three weeks it will make money a bit harder to come by from monsters (unless its double drop too?) but just a wooden wand scrolled with 100%'s can last you for a pretty long time.
Oh right, I completely forgot about the Nocturnal Staff. Thanks, I'll edit that in to my list.
