I listened to his 2 albums today, and they were great. His style is kinda repetitive when the 24 tracks have some repeated arrangements and the riffs are sort of predictable (like, you know beforehand what chords and notes the conclusions resolve to) but with a wide variety of synth sounds and some crazy effects and good trumpet, hammond and guitar sounds.
Definitely some songs are going to make it to my everyday playlist.
What kept me thinking is, as Ben said, his attitude towards music. In fact, in his homepage, he states clearly music is purely for fun. By the way, he says he only took a year of piano lessons and march band. It's pretty amazing that he plays by ear too.
