For those talking about Kavatina Story, its definitely not Maplestory 2.
1. It was already released.
2. The only tie between it and Maplestory is that they are both sidescrollers and have story in the name. Other than that not many similarities.
3. We just got news that they are working on Maplestory 2 in November. Too early for it to be released.
4. They didn't advertise Kavatina Story as Maplestory 2.
and finally...
5. Kavatina Story has already been temporarily scrapped by Nexon due to low popularity because of not many updates.
