The Weapon Speed mod does not stack with Booster, so up after 500 kills (1000 for Aran, and ~1750 for Buccaneers with 11+ Wind Booster), you're better of NOT casting Booster.

No, its definitely 2000. Are you sure you're counting your Kills + Cools and not just Kills?
