Eh, I just use FTP to transfer files from my desktop to my laptop when on the go...
Which doesn't happen often anyway, it's mostly from when I wanna switch from sitting in my chair to laying in my bed.
In case of emergency I have my Micro SD card in my DS (with a USB adapter), along with a USB drive I keep on my keychain.
