the item lock glitch

so if i do ask them to remove my lock, they'll "mess" up for sure?

Dear Maplers,

We will no longer be processing Item Guard unlock requests submitted after 8/12/09. We will still process requests for items locked with a permanent Item Guard, but if your Item Guard has a set time duration, you will need to wait for the Item Guard to unlock on its own.

This August 17th, 2009 announcement states it so that you cannot remove the lock of a temporarily locked item. You CAN however, request the removal of a permanent lock; but that's not relevant to your case.
