Use less shampoo. Also, if it is cold out/dry where u live you can do an olive oil treatment on your own. They sell the packets for like a dollar at CVS or a drug store and you rub it in and wear a hair net and it restores moisture to your scalp and gets rid of your dandruff.
I had this problem. No itch or irritation it was just dead, dry skin. You can also try the T-Gel shampoo from Neutrogena, but that is like $18. DO NOT USE HEAD AND SHOULDERS IT IS SHOWN TO INCREASE DANDRUFF!
