Wow. I just totally burned the chicken.

Sounds like the first time I tried to make rice on my stepmother's gas stove. The old rice/water ratio I used did not work, and it ended up being burnt and crunchy. I don't like gas stoves too much, except for Jiffy Pop.

I can cook rice equally well on any stove.
