yeah, it takes LOTS of time and practice until you memorize all of the OU's movesets and movepools. NetBattle had a significantly better interface, Shoddy has 4th gen pokemon up, and Shoddy fixed some bugs/glitches too, iirc.
I always will favor NB > Shoddy due to the interface, that and the amount of noobs. It was terrible on Shoddy...
