Pikachu's stomach patch was never seen again.
Geodude looks like some wannabe buff guy who hangs near the gym (which he doesn't even use) to pick up chicks in blue.
Sandshrew just looks like regular rat in both versions.
Poliwrath looks like a girl with a long glove in blue version.
When Pokemon first came out I thought the bone Cubone was holding was the bottom of his jaw in blue version.
Magikarp surprisingly has one of the most polished sprites in both versions.
