New Nexon interview about CrimsonWood(NotE3)
#53
Alright, here we go.

The PQ he is talking about is Magatia. That's why he says "at least one". Magatia PQ is 100% certain to come out, and it's also high on our priority list as far as content-to-release-for-story-development is concerned. Nihal desert has been made into a big deal for us, and Magatia's the most crucial section of it. That's not to say that we won't get a Masteria PQ but this isn't what he's talking about here.

One thing that I think is noteworthy is the absence of any reference to the release of a new class by the end of the year. Pirate people should cool their jets. If all these pirate map objects and NPCs were supposed to be hints then I'm sure this guy would have made mention of it.

Already addressed the Master Monster thing, looks like we're on track for Area Bosses in the next patch after Crimsonwood. They're fun for questers and the quests do give very good EXP, if you do them at the earliest possible level (often in the area of 10-15%) and a fair amount of Fame.

Seeing the Jr. Wraiths makes me even more certain that we'll get to Crimsonwood from the mansion. I bet the Jr.Wraiths gradually fade into the new Elder Wraiths.

Notice that the Forest maps are labeled (A1) (B1), etc. I'm thinking this is probably some sort of alphanumerical grid system for navigating the maze presented by the forest. Maybe something like:
A1 B1 C1
A2 B2 C2
A3 B3 C3

etc. the maps probably all connect to the adjoining maps, making it a maze to navigate. who knows if the number-letter will be in the name when it's released, though, it may just be to aid the GM testers.

I get the feeling that to get to crimsonwood you'll probably have to go underground through the caves and emerge from that tunnel.

The blue female enemy is holding a crossbow. I'm about 80% certain of this. I really like the way this enemy in particular looks, though I can't quite put my finger on it. The cracked mask really makes it look interesting, because what's underneath is quite a bit creepier than the mask itself, which is sort of the opposite of normal usage for a mask. under that mob of stormbreakers is definitely one of the blue enemies, however as many have noticed the name is unreadable. Anyone want to try shopping it for clarity?
