heh, actually read it in the print copy of the post the other day. It's a pretty intriguing concept, but their study indicated that it's more like 7 degrees of seperation--if I recall correctly, the average was something like 6.6?
Either way it just seems like a fun factoid to throw around...I would be interested to see the applications of this, ah, new knowledge.
