I think that Retalion was talking about 1899 Cleveland Spiders losing all their valuable players because the owner of that team had also owned the St. Louis Perfectos. The owner then decided that St. Louis would have a better fanbase than Cleveland so he traded all the stars from the Cleveland team to St. Louis in return for garbage.
I agree that the Mariners have lost a ton of good players in the past, but the past is the past right? Btw, I laughed at your Louisville slugger comment.
Just in case anybody cares, the Blue Jays lost. They had a 4-0 lead at one point but we managed to lose it and the game ended 8-4. I honestly can't believe this, we have the best bullpen in the league and our starting pitchers are also suppose to be the best in the league...this just doesn't add up.
@ the Blue Jays thing: Well, the Marlins have the 27th best starting pitcher ERA and are 1.5 games out of first... something definitely doesnt add up xD Things can look good on paper and... sadly not work out in reality, lololo.
