'62 Mets have the second worst amount of losses in a season with 120. So for the Mariners to beat their record they'll have to lose all their remaining 52 games. If by some miracle they end up doing that they'll have 121 losses, exactly 1 more than the Mets. ;P

I pulled up the baseball archive and its actually 1899 but... man, I didnt know some team could suck THAT much! 20-134? Hell, they didnt even play 162 games. I can see why that was the team's last season, lololo. Reading the Wiki page on them made me lol. Longest winning streak of 2, most road losses ever (109... that's more than total road games played these days xD), 1 win in last 41 games, 84 games away from the pennant winner, etc.
Its not fair to the Mariners. This team was robbed of all their real players cause the owner owned two teams! Annnd... after crunching some numbers, the Mariners would have to lose the rest of the games to catch the Mets >_> My dreams, dashed! Time to hope the Atlanta Falcons go 0-16 in the NFL this year (Damn the Ravens, losing to the Dolphins to make them 1-15 >_>)!
