No, you've got it completely wrong. The NX has to come from somewhere, and even with the tax before, Nexon is still making more.
Someone buys a $10 NX card and dumps that NX into the MTS. The person who received that 10k NX is taxed, so they receive less NX. In effect, Nexon just sold a kid $9 for $10. The tax isn't that high, but you get the idea. Nexon makes more money with more people using the MTS, not the other way around. It's not as if the MTS generates NX for each transaction. Someone still has to pocket out the money for that NX at one point or another.
