A lot of time ago (it's so much time ago that I don't even remember..), an unused BGM was released.
The BGM's name is WhereTheBalrogFrom and you can find it in Slip's BGM thread.
The BGM is this one, and was never used. Don't you find it mysterious? They could've thought about making Jr. Balrog an expedition boss like Balrog, but they decided to make it free for all before the release, and this BGM was supposed to be used for it?
There is no other explanation possible for this, really. As you can hear, it's an old-style BGM. The new BGMs made from KMS have a "newer" style, while if you ever listened carefully to all the MapleStory BGMs, this one, compared to the newer ones, looks more "old-style".
There aren't any other unused BGMs in the data as far as I know, other than this one which just sounds like another version of the Showa's BGM which has been added in the data for mistake.
What do you think about it? What did they want to do with this BGM?
Probably nobody will ever give an answer, but if someone as expert as Isaac could tell us what it could've been for, it'd be really appreciated.
