I hope they ARE elementally charged.
With a lower base damage.
---I want EVERY class to have these- Then paladins/WK could get a NICE elemental advantage.
So that they are ONLY useful for training on elementally weak monsters.
(I could also live with a regular base- really How many people do not train at Gobies/Himes to Skeles/Newties)

The weapon attack would have to be cut by a large factor for it to be fair.

But lower the weapon attack to a fair level and suddenly no one would want to use them because it wouldn't be worth it to use as a primary weapon.

The red one's on a monster, so I doubt they're elementally charged. o.0

Assuming they're released as weapons for players, having multiple colors possible could be a hint that they're elementally charged.

And yes, the weapon being used by a monster, it COULD be elemental. This monster has a red colored weapon. A FP with Partial Resistance MAY take less damage from this monster's attacks because of this. And yes, this is conjecture, but so is whatever you have to say. For anything more than justified conjecture, we'd have to wait til release, and it wouldn't be any fun debating that sort of thing when there would be absolute facts.
