Not Well-Needed Rant

I'm really against the probation list. Planned runs for something like Balrog shouldn't be around in my opinion. I've gone on many random runs and all have gone decently. Who cares about bonus, it's to have fun and to accept the challenge. I got probation listed yesterday, and I think it's because it was a "120+ run", yet a level 87 DK in my party was in the tomb while my friend Rai, a 105 DK, and myself, a 118 Crusader, sat outside disappointed. It's a load of crap!

It carries over too, so till we convince a random to figure out what to do, we're permanently screwed out of something meant for fun since no one can kill it anyway. Yes Cyanne that run of yours I went on failed, I don't care if your others have succeeded. No one can kill it two times in a row and if they have, I'd love some proof. Till Balrog is the Zakum of yesterday when looking at Pink Bean, I find a lot of the random nonsense garbage.

Sure, randoms are a pain in the butt. Teaching them to attack the head first, blah blah blah. It's always Damage Reflect that's a problem. I think I know the animation for it, but I'm not too sure. I don't want to read "THIS MANY SURVIVORS AND YOU GET TO LOLBONUS FOR POTIONS". Sure I'm gonna get that and nasty remarks, but there is no set number, especially when 1/40 runs a day can even finish the Balrog.

Edit: I took some leftover frustration from last night and put it into a mini-rant. It wasn't necessary at all, but I tend to rant. But some of my points I still believe. I really would like to see back-to-back Balrog kills or a Cyanne run when everyone's not cowering in Phase 3 xD

Main problem is getting enough people to do enough damage to finish. The vast majority of the people I know aren't interested in rog at all =/

As for the sign-up thing, I usually kick randoms until all of my team has clicked into the list. Most of the time I do it randomly, but sometimes I'll intentionally kick particularly annoying people or people who I know will attack until DR then sit in the corner waiting for us to finish.

Yea I just did like 3 runs, in all 3 most of us got pwnt at the first DR (too bad I didn't notice this thread earlier, I could have used the info about DR cooldown...). I'll try beating it again tomorrow. Also, from the bonus stage explanation it seems extremely hard to get leathers, how do they expect us to turn in 20 for a quest?

I guess you just have to run a ton of times. You get about 2 per successful run if you share the dropped leathers evenly.
