also microsoft is known for copypasta i mean look at "soapbox" or "Bing" they are willing to spend millions before they see any return.

Bing actually has a good draw through its cashback program (up to $2500 back per year on purchases found through Bing - I'm getting $410 back from my laptop purchase (25%) because of it), which will increase traffic through it.
