The sniper is actually at the back of the building, and snipes everyone coming out. Because he's at the back of the building, he doesn't notice the pineapple props being thrown out of the front of the building, and promptly snipes everyone else that runs out of the back of the building.

I vote myself still alive because I didn't run out the back like a dippomegranate. I already have my arms retrieved from the file cabinet, and (inferred) had them equipped (impossible to build a fort without arms). I fortify my fort with the fax machine, after giving it a solid beating to vent my frustration at the situation and the American office-cubicle work environment in general to the tune of "Damn it feels good to be a gangsta."
