Murder takes away life, and at worse rape just alters it. I value life.

I am against the death penalty but I am not going to argue against its hard to change someone's mind who believe in barbaric ideas like an eye for an eye.

What I will argue is the fact that murder is worse than rape.

Giving people AIDS/other permanent STD's (Assuming the rapist has AIDS/STD's) isn't as bad as murder?

That's lifelong suffering that the rapist just gave to the victim!
