The Sphere

[color="#cc8899"]An alien sphere that causes thoughts to instantly become reality. This leads to several characters' fears coming to life (beyond their control, and hell, most aren't even aware of this happening, they think it's people going crazy). The idea is that humanity is not ready for what could be a glorious gift because we are unable to control ourselves, and would ultimately destroy ourselves with it, despite the best intentions.

I really loved the book (movie was bleh), and am curious if anyone else has read it, and what their thoughts are on it.[/COLOR][/COLOR]
