Str less vs Low str Slingers

So an event comes out in may that lets us get maple stuff i haven't been playing that long. And how do we get each of the maple items are they all monster drops?

And what should i do in planning for gears I'm level 20 right now slowly leveling. I think top and bottom is better... Would a peacemaker be a good gun to try to scroll good? And should i try and just 60 my gear or use 30's?

i personally think you should just keep your Str @ like Regular untill you hit like lvl 50 and are able to obtain your Zakum Helm then stop adding (for a bit) and see what you can obtain for a well scrolled gun. That gives you like 20 levels before you find out if you need to add Str or not. Also 50 -70base str would be a good base str from what ive seen in the pirate Damage range thread, and you can always add more str if needed. Plus if your rich then you can use Atk Capes and FS's n stuff like that which if your regular str and you dont need to worry about str for anything im currentally @ a base of 69 str and i find that its too much, im not a rich mapler when it comes to my gear. I got went out Makered myself some shoes for 9 str 3 dex, and bought a 8 str 3 atk Pac ages ago, my current total Str without MW is 120... and im currentally using a concerto. I can easily lose the 8 str on the cape and trade it in for an atk cape(which im in the process of) and trade my shoes in for anything resembling a 10 dex shoe or a facestomper. Which leaves with to much str also lol. I am alo working on betting my black belt(using +2 one atm) and imma probally grab some Aura rings(+1 to all) which is oing to give me a lot of str also.
It really depends on what you can track down gear wise, you want to be low str, but not so low that you cant wear a good gun if you find a deal. I would hate to have leik 100 Str and have bought my Dragonfire revolver and need to wait, so i personally woudl say shoot for 110 str no matter what just incase. So you dont need to worry about it later on cause its better to be too high than too low.

you need to be careful with scrolling guns. Say you got like 100M in cash u can spend. Your gonna be spending upwards of 10M per adv diamond, maybe a mill per items to make the initial gun, 30% scrolls (about 3-4M in bera) you use on it. These can be rather pickey scrolls too. When i was in my 5X-10X i tried scrolling some guns and exploded like 18 guns with only 4 30%'s working on the first slot and they all exploded on 2nd slot...it was sad. I'm not a big supporter of scrolling if you dont have the means to make it amazing (able to sit around and explode some guns for liek 2 weeks straight). Cause your going to end up just exploding like 18 guns and have nothing substantial to show for it at all. It is a much better idea to buy a pre-scrolled gun from what ive seen. Guns seem to be kinda low in their costings for well scrolled items, my NL friend has a claw with like 2 30%'s and 5 60%'s on it and the thing's worth like 2B where as i had purchased my 99/4 Dragon fire revolver(4 30% scrolls) for like 400M and my 103/5 Concerto (5 30%'s) for 725M. Even the lower guns i remember being low cost, i still see burning Hell'swith 2-3 30%'s and some 60's on them for less than what it looks like they should go for compaired to other classes weapons.
