Death sentence

Scarring a child, moreover anyone for life is something I consider worse than ending a life. Maybe it wasn't noticed before, but it's become much more prevalent now. Or something.

The only scaring being done is by the media.

Relations between adults and teenagers has been going on since the beginning of time and so far humanity has survived.

Not all pedophiles force themselves on younger people, most didn't until it became illegal.

What would you think would happen if heterosexual relationships were suddenly considered illegal? Were you are considered immoral, sick, a monster for thinking about the opposite sex.

People being with teenagers is common in every culture, and in the animal kingdom.

Of course sleeping with a 5 year old and sleeping with a post pubescent person are two different things.
