I Give You, The PS3 Slim!

First of all, no one i know has ever gotten an RROD. Second of all, unless you're retarded you won't get one. I heard about some dude who had to physically slam his xbox against a table until he got an RROD.

That was quite an ignorant thing to say. Myself and literally all of my friends, most of us engineers, have had to send their 360 back in at least once. No, we weren't stupid with cooling or ESD. The hardware layout & cooling was poorly designed and you can clearly see that if you you open up your xbox.

I didn't do massive 3+ hour game sessions, I kept a fan on it, etc. I've still gotten E74 twice. Luckily, MS extended the warranty on RRoD to E74 as well since it's the same root cause (crappy design leading to the GPU overheating, in this case). Because of this, it didn't cost a penny to get it fixed either time and it re-extends the warranty each time

That said, the only 2 PS3 owners I know also sent those in when the disc drive stopped spinning. Both of the boxes are shoddy, as compared to the old systems. It's kind of sad that I can still run my SNES without any issues whatsoever, yet both Sony & MS have trouble making a box that can't withstand light-to-moderate use over a span of 2 years. Not a fully valid comparison due to the lack of moving parts, but still...

Not commenting on Wii since I only know 1 person that has one and they barely use it anymore. Not a good sample size for getting reliability data.
