I just did a few calculations, and found out that 1 Fire Strike out-DPS's 20 Fire Pillar. Can someone double check me?

These were done with a character with 600 magic attack and 500 int, on JoeTang's maple calculator.

Fire Pillar level 20
Min: 2024 Max: 2760 Average: 2320
Time to cast: 1050ms or 1.05 seconds
Average damage/second: 2209.52

Fire Strike level 1
Min: 1255 Max: 2518 Average: 1825
Time to cast: 750 ms or .75 seconds
Average damage/second: 2433.33

true it outdamages pillar but pillar cast in both directions and to the best of my knowledge strike is in one direction so both have their advantages... but you have to think about it logically, is anyone gonna bypass pillar cause it gets replaced in 3rd job? no... is anyone gonna use pillar once they have lvl 1 strike and gears? probably for those special instances but otherwise probably not... plus strike is a 3rd job skill vs pillar is 2nd so yeah should be stronger
