Verdana (the default font on VBulletin, for most) is wider than Comic Sans. And it looks more legit too.

When I'm a teacher, I'm definitely enforcing the "Times New Roman, Black, 12 pt, double-spaced and MLA format" rule that I've always had to follow. That's just the way it should be for academic papers.
I've always had to use MLA, at least in English class. And I suppose AP History.
