Very common misconception and many people I talk to believe it this way. They instantly assume advanced dark is 5, so it's better, while it's not. Since it's gonna get out anyway, I'll just say it once (Even though it's been said in other places)

DC - Acts like a chaos and affects AP stats only, meaning str/dex/int/luk

BC - Acts like a chaos and affects non-AP stats only, meaning accuracy, avoid, attack, magic attack, def, etc

tl;dr: DC doesn't effect attack, BC does
