The EXP Curve

We all have to be partly mad to get as far as we have. I mean, I'm nearly 22, a senior in college and I started playing when I was a Frosh. Granted, an eight month break, but generally. Yikes. I'd have at least 2-3 Lv. 80's on WoW by now.

Maple Exp Tables aren't even compariable. I can't think of another MMO that makes you die at your computer for a level.

I completely agree. Last night I was talking with one of my best friends who doesn't play MS at all but knows just how much time and money I've invested into my character, and told me that the game took control of my life and whatnot. He's right; you can't be a hardcore Mapler and still be a truly outgoing member of society. I'm not saying I don't have friends, and I don't do things with my life, but when all of your friends go "hey, I haven't seen you in a month" because you've been grinding every day, or when you haven't touched a console game since you started playing MS, that's a problem.

Point is, I think it's rather disgusting so many people hate the curve because they want "the challenge." As this man said, MS leveling is more ridiculous than any other MMO, curve or not. And you want it to be as hard as possible? Please, save yourself some humanity. At least thank Nexon for giving you a little more time to live life instead of grind.

tl;dr this entire gay thread you are all retarded EXP curve is for casual scrubs who belong in private servers, normal curve is for people that understand that the big levels (150+) shouldn't be handed to you like they are now

b(itch ass leechers never get past 15x~16x anyway unless they have some dickless boyfriend who fantasizes over his girlfriend's flat chest with every second he spends spamming gen for her. Hell, people that have trained from 120-150 during this EXP curve event will never want to train again after they see their 4% an hour on 1x.

Take your hate and vulgarity off this thread. You sound like a person who has never played a private server before (not to mention one who really doesn't care about anything put people praising his accomplishments). Let me explain it a little bit to you, even though I put this post at risk for doing so:

From personal experience, you can, on a private server, get to Lv. 200 in about 3 min. You can buy any scroll and equip in the game for 200 Meso, so it only takes ~30 min to scroll perfect gear and extremely godly att Pacs, FS, etc. You can also rebirth and have up to 32,000 base AP per AP stat, meaning potential 18m stars/arrows, etc - in other words, 1-2 hitting Anego. You can teleport to nearly any map in the game, earn max mesos in one minute, and buy infinite NX and smegas. That's a private server.

Now do you, or anyone else, REALLY THINK an EXP curve like what we have now, plus Bishops, plus the Family System, plus 2x cards, is anywhere close to touching .00001% of what you can do in a private server? Absolutely not.
