Skills after HH, and godly bw vs. decent sword

USMC Wrote:Edit: btw if I were to put attack speed into the equation, how'd it be? I'd like to calculate how speed affects it. Just gimme an example so I can figure out the rest xD.

Thanks.

If one were to add in the calculation of speed, then it actually depends on the weapon speed and skill speed:

Say you want to compare a fast(4) and normal(5) weapon with booster, then one could for example look at the brandish speed of faster(2) and faster(3) here. We see that the time taken for a faster(2) is 630ms, and that faster(3) is 690ms. If we convert these to seconds, we get 0.63 and 0.69 respectively. Now, let's go on with our old formula we found earlier:

Code:
3.542 * watk = 3.0184 * (watk + x)

This is the average base damage per attack.
We want the best dps. Dps is short for damage per second.
Dividing the amount of seconds per attack would then give us
the average base dps.

(Let's assume the 1h bw has the speed advantage here)
3.542 / 0.69 * watk = 3.0184 / 0.63 * (watk + x)

5,1333... * watk = 4.79111... * (watk + x)

5.1333 / 4.79111 * watk = watk + x

15/14 * watk = watk + x //Okay, I'll admit it, I used fractions.
1/14 *watk = x
x = watk / 14

Now, 1/14 will yield roughly 7% difference. That means, for every TOTAL attack for the sword, the mace needs 0.07 attack. For 140 attack, that's exactly 10 more attack needed (Heyhey, x = watk/14. Watk = 140, thus 140/14 = 10)
