Bishops & Auto HP?

Roots do come into some sort of use if you were to genesis at newties. But honestly, I spam bulls more than i spam anything else. Roots only come in handy when you're standing there looting stuff, or when you're chatting, OR when eventually, the amount of hits you take lowers your hp enough to make you have to even it out. Unlike arch mages, we don't have the ability to make the nearby newties pineapple off from attacking us. Hence the hp/mp dip that requires the use of a root or ale. However, this is if you prefer potting over healing yourself whenever ur hp dips.

If you don't mind me asking, you're a bishop yourself. How do you pot when you train? Seeing as how you don't use bulls. o.o Do you just neglect how much hp you have when using ales because it [near] guarantees survival?
