What's causing all the inflation?

I never said you cared about the mesos - you were remarking that a lot of people were insulting you or didn't like you, and I offered a solution to that problem.

So, it was a post to spite me for no other purpose than to spite me. I see.
Oh dear, you seem to think I ponder heavily upon these baseless insults of self sacrilege. =(

It's just sad that people will willingly make life harder for others...

I love these scenarios, so here's one:
Everyone will lose their heart unless they know how to preserve theirs. Will you preserve yours if you knew how or would you die with the rest? Take one for the team and take the plunge of death! I mean, c'mon if you choose to live, that's just unfair and it really is just sad and pathetic.

Not quite as black and white as that, but same concept to a lesser degree. =)

Thanks, I figured packet editing would be the most likely way to do this. As I said before, the fact that mesos are impossible to uniquely identify without crushing the back end database server.

None of the posts were directed toward you. The one talking about the guild was to explain the glove attk price increase. Not to bash, just to inform.

I was just giving my two cents to an otherwise one-sided point of view. Since they were directed to everyone, I am also completely at liberty to reply to them. =)

It's all a status ****fest. Usually the people who actually have something to brag about don't go on a public forum and start talking about it.

All I am saying-

If there is a Meso Exploit out, and those people with the exploit are selling to these sites and getting real $, and the sites are making 100mil worth lunch money, what is the point of even trying to "take advantage" of the economy. There is no point in trying to make billions of mesos, when none of it will be worth pomegranate anyways. Everyone will have godly equips, no one will have anything to brag about on the forum, and then all your e-penors will eventually shrink and you will have nothing to talk about. So then Maple will die, and you will leave the game $1000 poorer from all the NX u spent.

The real reason I think meso prices are so low is because the gold farmers have to compete with eachother. If one goes low, they all do.

As for the amount of mesos being tossed around- they have probably already been there, just sitting on characters waiting to be sold. Now they are in buyer and sellers hands.

Your point was that this game has no point and acts only as a medium for people to boost their own ego. The rest was just an apocalyptic forecast. All I did was provide one point for why some people will still play this game at no personal loss. That's all.

As for meso exploits... you are entitled to your beliefs. I do wonder if you'll feel the same when mesos are at 100m=$1 in a week or two. Increased demand, supposedly same rate of meso farming as before, but decrease in price =) Competition is great and all... but the elasticity of mesos is certainly sketchy. Also, I do like how one person is now the donation king of all cities in windia. I also liked when meso hackers chased me around trying to outbid me w/ offering max mesos for something that only cost 1.3b, even in this inflated market. Best part was when they didn't even deny hacking the mesos and threatened to bring mules to outbid me more =)

It's kind of hard for people to respect you when a good majority of the people here aren't merchents and therefore cannot afford many of the now-inflated scrolls. Since you are playing the market and admited (If I read your first post correctly.) to inflating scrolls on all servers I don't see why you would expect people here to treat you nicely. The smug snake attitude you've got doesn't help either.

Then again, it could be worse. Some forums have staff that would have made up some inane excuse to warn/ban you by now and/or closed the topic all together.

You don't have to respect me to have a decent conversation. All I'm saying is that a random slur of insults amount to nothing in the end, so why post them? But don't worry, I'm not losing sleep over this terribly tragic series of ungrounded misgivings. =) Oh and right, the quote you quoted me saying was just me saying "lolwut? i don't see a relation between what i posted and what you replied with."

I actually have no problem with giving people money if they earned it. I actually give about 10-15m away a day to people on vic to help them start up because a lot of people are nice about it and engage in excellent conversations with me. I'm much more reserved about giving this away to "Gimme Mesos. you're rich, therefore you should give me money." Do you see the difference? If people do more things to EARN the mesos, I give them more. FEELS GOOD MAN.

Whether or not there will be a limit to this, I do not know. If there's a deadline to haul as much money as possible before they all get put into jail, I presume they will not give a damn to Maple economy. If, however, they can take their time and optimize the situation for their gain, I hope they know what they're doing and not bring the economy down in a week.

Hackers are not always the most intelligent of people. You give them too much credit.
