Get a new Harddisk ASAP!!! Really, they're really cheap these days, also for laptops.
Get a new harddisk, install windows on it, and copy your documents/photo's/screenshots/video's on the new one ASAP, before the old harddisk totally fails and you lose everything what's on there!
Uh, I don't think my HD is rattling. And if it was, it sounds just like any other circuit static noise from busy computers.
I already have my "omg I must not lose it" files backed up already.
Anyways, updated the results of the avast! scan. I'm highly suspect of the 2f8fce3.msp file, since it's a Windows Installer patch file from what I can look up on it.
