All that and there was some stuff that we've never seen before in maple. Even though all this happens in a span of probably a few minutes within 5 maps (6 if you count the second starting map) it's still pretty impressive how they were able to do stuff like make npcs disappear so that it makes it look like you're saving him and how when you leave a map and go back to it after you trigger an event, the map changes.

I mean this could be incorporated in so many ways (ie. Masteria)

Yeah, and hopefully NEXON America will use those methods. It's all in the portals. They check if you've triggered an event and if you did, they take you to another map.

I imagine the return of the Black Magician and the takeover of the Maple World.. all the NPCs would be gone from the towns because they'd escape from the Black Magician, and there would be black clouds everywhere.. the towns would grow darker, and Black Magician would destroy them. You'd see the ruins of all the towns (something like the burning maps in the video, when the traveler came back to Helena to give her the kid), and the BGM would change. There would be ONE BGM for all the towns, and it'd be an evil one to give the evil feeling of the dark force of the Black Magician, who destroyed them.

Something like Pokemon Ruby, when you had to capture Groudon. The weather became very hot in all the towns, and the BGM changed in all of them to give a "danger" feeling. Yeah, I'd like to see something like that on MapleStory. Too bad, I don't think that would happen.. it'd disrupt the gameplay to the others.. or maybe NEXON could find a way.. like you'd see the destroyed towns only by doing a quest.. and there still would be Potion sellers somewhere to give you the potions..

They're just ideas, but I'd like to see something epic like that for the Black Magician's return. Seeing how epic the starting for the Aran Race was, I think they probably will invent something REALLY epic for the Black Magician..
