Did the monster after Horntail have a 5 card at the time (Stumpy) and then go to 1?
I'd think if it's pushing everything forward by 1, then whatever is displaying at the HT position would have previously been in the Stumpy position, and slide everything beyond that back a space.
Like if it starts like this
King Slime 5
Alishar 1
Papa Pixie 5
Papulatus 2
Stumpy 1
Deo 1 (...)
When it pushes that ahead by 2, you end up with
King Slime (prev2)
Alishar (prev1)
Papa Pixie 5
Papulatus 1
Stumpy 5
Deo 2
When you toss in an HT card, it inserts into the original sequence like
King Slime 5
Alishar 1
Papa Pixie 5
Papulatus 2
Horntail 1
Stumpy 1
Deo 1
But since the actual numbers are shifted by 2, you get
King Slime (prev2)
Alishar (prev1)
Papa Pixie 5
Papulatus 1
Horntail 5
Stumpy 2
Deo 1
