Pirate's Niche

Previously had a 99 priest, 82 sniper, 105 crusader, and 106 Ice mage. Now I have a 57 gunslinger.

What makes your class special?

It definitely feels more gimmicky than the other classes, and a lot more strategic and active in avoiding monsters due to the very low damage of double shot and invisible shot only being able to hit 3 monsters.

What skills give you a unique experience you can't get from any other class?

Float. I love it.

And for those of you who have other characters, how did they compare? Where is a Pirate better or worse than your previous class? How are they the same and different?

All of my other characters had pretty well known spots in the game. What I mean is, my priest was the healer, my mage was the mobber, my sniper had great control over monsters, and my crusader could dish out big numbers while taking damage. I don't feel like my slinger has a place just yet, not in 2nd job. It's weak and harder to train than my previous characters. I really wish I had the time and patience to get it to 3rd job.
